"TOC Title" sets the heading; "Family"/"Alignment" style it only. "Truncate" cuts long titles with "…", "Wrap" flows them onto multiple lines. "Edit Chapters…" hides or renames chapters (used everywhere the chapter name appears).

Weight

Pick the body-text typeface (including an imported one), its alignment, size and weight. Alignment's own "EPUB" option leaves paragraphs exactly as the book's own CSS says (or its own default, for one with none) instead of forcing Justify/Left/Center/Right on all of them. "Chapter Title Alignment" forces every chapter/section title (found via the book's own table of contents) to a specific alignment, regardless of the book's own styling (or lack of it) and regardless of Alignment above — "EPUB" (the default) leaves titles untouched.

Remove all images

"Images as new page" gives each embedded image its own full page, with its own Dither Strength (independent from Render's and Cover Page's). "Remove all images" strips every image from the book except the Cover.

Footnotes

Inline footnote after paragraph

Inline footnote after dot or comma

Create the "final chapter" with all the footnotes

Pick one placement for footnotes/endnotes. "After paragraph"/"After dot or comma" insert the note right there in the text. "Create the final chapter" instead collects them all into a new chapter at the end, each labeled with its page number.

Margins & Padding

Side Margin 5px

Top/Bottom Margin 5px

Ignore EPUB Horizontal Margins

Ignore EPUB Vertical Margins

Side Margin affects the left/right edges, Top/Bottom Margin the top/bottom (both grow if Header/Footer needs more room). "Ignore EPUB Horizontal Margins" strips the book's own left/right CSS margin/padding; "Ignore EPUB Vertical Margins" strips its top/bottom margin/padding.

Text Scrubbing

Strings added here are removed from all chapter content before conversion.

Hidden

Desktop: drag elements between Header, Footer and Hidden, or reorder within a zone — top-to-bottom order is exactly the display order, for both bands. Mobile: use ▲▼ instead. Book/Chapter Progress Bar are two independent elements here — each shows only where its own item is placed, and not at all from Hidden.

Overrides the EPUB's own Title/Author when exporting — useful when the EPUB doesn't include them.

File Name

Include Target Device

When on, the exported file's name gets a "[Device Name]" suffix (e.g. "Book [Xteink X4].xtc") — off by default for a plain "Book.xtc".
